HOME SCHOOL AGREEMENT

The School will: –

Provide a Catholic education for your child

Demonstrate our faith and our school’s following of the teaching of Jesus Christ by what we teach and the way we live and worship in our school

Care for your child’s safety, security and happiness

Encourage your child to work hard and do his/her best at all times

Strive to ensure that your child achieves his/her full potential as a valued member of the school community

Provide a balanced curriculum to meet the individual needs of your child

Endeavour to achieve high standards of work, behaviour and discipline through promoting good relationships and developing a sense of responsibility

Keep you informed about general school matters and about your child’s progress in particular

Be open and welcoming and offer opportunities for you to become involved in the daily life of the school

The Parents

See that my child attends school regularly, on time, is properly equipped and wears the school uniform.

Support the Catholic principles of the school

Keep the school informed if my child is absent

Make the school aware of any concerns or problems that might affect my child’s work or behaviour

Support the school’s policies

Support the school’s guidelines for behaviour

Support my child’s work at school and at home

Attend parents evenings and discussions about my child’s progress and life at school

The Children

I will

bring all the equipment I need every day

wear the school uniform and be tidy in appearance

do all my class work and homework as well as I can

be polite and helpful and be caring for the needs of others

take good care of equipment and the school building

always maintain a high standard of appropriate behaviour

always be obedient to my teachers
